This weekend it was time for a some more trend spotting at new interiors exhibition Defining Scandinavia in Copenhagen. Having recently visited Formex Fair in Stockholm I felt that the show really is like a little brother in the interior context, but it was really very nicely arranged in a super location place at Øksnehallen in trendy and slightly shabby neighborhood Kødbyen, yet right in town. If you want to compare fairs so I experienced the Danish variant as more colorful and pretty Ferm living-inspired, including much neon colors and triangular patterns. Above shows some samples of the more colorful assortment. Since the show is new in Copenhagen has it not yet grown and it went pretty quickly to go through it, but because the location was central I had time for a walk around town. And guess what, among other things somewhat unexpectedly came with me home; a few things in the right neon color that will I show here on the blog another day. The day ended on a cozy restautrant with wood oven baked pizzas in Kødbyen with cool cafes, restaurants and hangout. It feels like I will certainly return to both Defining Scandinavia and Kødbyen.
